 | Abstract: Starting off with the "hypothesis of convergence driven by universalization" this publication focuses upon the exemplary transnational structure of EADS / AIRBUS as of high interest for examining this hypothesis. The shareholding countries (in alphabetical order) France, Germany, Spain, and the UK represent the four European traditions of VET: France has a school-based system based on vocational profiles, Germany has a dual system also based on vocational profiles but with education in vocational schools augmented with training in a huge regulated private sector, Spain has no regulated system and the UK has a competence-based system, where delivery can take place in school, a training provider or in the workplace.  | Technologien, Fertigungsverfahren, Arbeitsorganisation und auch Qualitätsvorschriften haben sich in Europa inzwischen weitgehend angeglichen. Demzufolge werden bei den Mitarbeitern gleiche oder mindestens ähnliche Kompetenzen vorausgesetzt. Die Kompetenzerwerbswege sind in Europa jedoch äußerst unterschiedlich. Mit Focus auf die beispielhafte transnationale Struktur von EADS / Airbus untersucht diese Veröffentlichung diese "These der universalisierungsbedingten Konvergenz". Dabei stehen die vier "Shareholder- Nationen" zugleich für die vier maflgeblichen europäischen Traditionen der Berufsbildung: dual beruflich auf Basis von Berufsbildern (Deutschland), staatlich beruflich auf Basis von Berufsbildern (Frankreich), berufsunspezifisch-modularisierte Berufsbilder (Groflbritannien), berufsunspezifisch-schulisch ohne Berufsbilder (Spanien). Bezüglich der unterschiedlichen Adaption in diesen nationalen Bildungssystemen versucht die Publikation eine Transparenz her zu stellen und unternimmt zudem den Versuch einer vergleichenden Evaluation. |
